Rafiki was born in 2013 and spent the first year of her life struggling to survive by foraging through rubbish on a civil servant’s estate in Langata.  At the age of one she was hit by a car, shattering her front leg.  It was at this point that KSPCA was called in to assist, and is where she was treated and nursed back to good health (note that her left front leg permanently turns slightly outward as a result of the accident).  As a much adored long-term resident, Rafiki has free rein of KSPCA and spends her days wandering in and out of offices visiting with staff.  She is approx. 2½ years old, spayed, and has such a lovely calm and gentle nature to her. She would make an excellent pet to any household!
